Known issues
Is this a security audit?+
No. Hotfix is a best-effort review of common problems in AI-built apps. It is not a certified security audit, penetration test, or compliance assessment.
What happens to my code?+
We clone your repo into an isolated workspace for the review and delete the copy within 7 days. We never run your app against production credentials.
Which repos can I submit?+
Only repos you own or have permission to submit. The free Leak Check works on public repos; paid tiers can use a collaborator invite or a zip.
You found a leaked key. Now what?+
Rotate it right away at the provider. Removing it from the code doesn't help if it's already in your git history or a deployed bundle.
What stacks do you handle?+
Mostly JavaScript and TypeScript web apps: Next.js, React, Vite, Supabase, Firebase, and similar, including apps built with Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, or Claude Code.
